I don’t think she’ll find the excuse “I grew up in a village of 950 people and 0% culture” all that acceptable.

Woman, you are a doof. Of course I won’t disassociate myself from you - introducing people to movies is one of my favorite things to do. And you’ve given me the 950-person village excuse before, and I bought it. And I know which three of those movies you’ve seen, because I WATCHED THEM WITH YOU. Miss you.
